Town garden with young owners who wanted a contemporary garden, with more usable space for young family. Area was excavated in order to achieve a much more level area for larger expanse of lawn and much larger patio area, close to the house.
All retaining walls are rendered and painted in muted colours. Flags are light coloured to brighten up an otherwise shady patio area.
Sunken lighting set into the flags, again giving a contemporary feel, with light washing up the walls.
